📣The Johnsonburg Area Endowment Fund, held at the Elk County Community Foundation (ECCF), is now accepting grant applications for the current granting cycle. The deadline for applying is June 30, 2026.
✅Grants are awarded through an open, competitive grant process open to any 501c3 organization, school, municipality, or organized religion that benefits the residents of the Johnsonburg Area School District. Qualified applicants with a cause or project that improves the quality of life in the Johnsonburg area are encouraged to apply.
💲The Johnsonburg Area Endowment Fund awarded $17,744 in grants in 2025. Grants were given to Johnsonburg Borough, $3,000 to conduct a Strategic Plan; Helping Hands Food Pantry, $3,000 for food supplies; Johnsonburg Little League, $4,000 for the installation of a drain pipe; Johnsonburg Fire Department, $2,244 to purchase a nozzle and foam jet distribution attachment; Johnsonburg Community Trust, $5,000 for the installation of new lighting within the Arcade of the Brick Block building; and Johnsonburg Elementary School, $500 for a kiln to be used at the Junior/Senior High School.
