To Our Families and Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we share that the Pleasants County Family Support Center is closed effective this evening. All staff have been instructed not to report to work until further notice.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Pleasants County Family Support Center is unable to continue operations at this time. We know this news will come as a shock to many of you, and we want you to know that this decision was not made lightly.

Over the past months, it has been our privilege to serve the children, parents, and families of Pleasants County. Watching our Center grow into a place where families felt welcomed, supported, and connected has been one of our greatest joys.

We understand that many of you rely on the Center—not only for programs and resources, but also for friendship, encouragement, and a sense of community. We are deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us and for allowing us to be part of your lives.

We know this announcement may leave many of you with questions. While we do not have additional information to share at this time, we will provide updates if and when they become available.

Thank you for your support, your kindness, and the memories we have shared together. It has truly been an honor to serve this community.

🌱🥕 Our Circle of Parents garden is in full swing! 🍅🌶️

Every harvest is a chance to learn something new. From pulling carrots and picking peppers to tasting fresh vegetables straight from the garden, our families are discovering where healthy food comes from while making lasting memories together.

🌶️ Join us Tuesday, July 28, 1pm for Circle of Parents as we turn some of our fresh harvest into homemade Hot Pepper Sauce!

Big thanks to Wellpoint for a morning filled with learning and laughter! Our little ones soaked up knowledge on sun safety, crafted their own sun bracelets, and enjoyed ice cream in the end!

Looking for a fun family outing? Join the Pleasants County Family Support Center July 24th at 10:30am at the Newport Jug for a fun playgroup. Kids enjoy a free mini ice cream, bubble wagon will be there and yard games as well for the whole family. See ya there!
