Today the St Marys Chapter 103 American Legion Riders paid a visit to our veterans that reside in the assisted care homes of St Marys (Elk Haven Nursing Home, Silver Creek Terrace, and Pine Haven) to express our gratitude for their service, and present them with some gifts and some holiday cheer. The gifts included a zip up sweatshirt and meal clothing protector, both of which have their name and branch of service embroidered on them, an electric razor, an Old Spice toiletry pack, two packages of socks, a hand made wooden cross, a blanket, and a gift box from Santa and snacks from his elves. Merry Christmas to our veterans!

The fundraising that the chapter does throughout the year helps to purchase these gifts provided by the riders. Your continued support of our fundraising efforts plays a major part in making a difference to veterans during the holidays. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas!
