Helmets are collected and donated to those that need them for training or personal use. The mission of 33 Helmets is to motivate ATV riders to wear a helmet at all times no matter their experience level, riding reason, age or location. Created in memory of Mark Loeslie of Warren, MN who suffered a severe head injury in an ATV accident and lost his life at the age of 37. You can help raise the awar

eness of ATV Safety

The overall goal is to raise funds to purchase at least 33 helmets for this inaugural drive during 2012 - 2013. Any money not used for helmets will be donated to the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance helping 94,000 Minnesotans who live with a permanent disability as a result of brain injury.

33 Helmets is collecting donations to help purchase helmets for future events. The message and mission of 33 Helmets will be shared with attendees and helmets will be given to ATV clubs that need them for training classes. The other helmet giveaways will happen in the spring and summer of 2013 at various ATV Club meetings and ATV Safety Classes throughout Minnesota. Donations to 33 Helmets are accepted here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=YUKBJLFQE87WY

It means so much to have your support as this program launches into the ATV world to impact those that ride often or occasionally. If you would like to contribute in other ways by offering your time, magnificent brainpower or creativity to the mission we would love to hear from you!

Attended the ATV Youth Safety Training class last weekend back in Warren. Jeremy Woinarowicz does a great job preparing kids for the driving test and reviewing safety standards. I usually get a group photo and this year I forget to capture the moment. We did donate two helmets that were donated by Dan Nowacki. A great event that the MN DNR puts on with the Marshall County Sheriffs Department.

"Youth is not entirely a time of life - it is a state of mind. It is not wholly a matter of ripe cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It is a temper of will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions.

"Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years. People grow old only by deserting their ideals. You are as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fears; as young as your hope, as old as your despair.

"In the central place of every heart, there is a recording chamber; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer and courage, you are young.

"When the wires are all down and your heart is covered with the snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism, then, and only then, have you grown old." - Samuel Ullman, 1840 - 1924
