I am sorry to hear about the shooting that happened yesterday in Seattle. My condolences to all of you who live or know of someone in Seattle, Washington state.

Today a tornado hit 90 miles NW of Milwaukee. I hope those of you living in the affected area or have loved ones there are safe.

I know the world feels a bit crazy at times, and unwell at other times. We hope to support you all as much as the clinic is able because we are a community. May you find peace and health.

Folks, I spoke to a few patients today and became aware that some of you do not know what to do at home to eliminate wildfire smokes.

Let’s go through that again. We are talking about particles less than 2.5 microns. You need HEPA filters or MERV 13 air filter to do that. If you live in a home, it is easier to change your air filter to grade MERV 13.

If you live in an apartment, you can strap a HEPA filter behind a square floor fan or an air purifier. Put it by the vent when the ac comes out. You may need more than one set up for all the vents or have to close some of the vents.

Hope you all are staying safe. Remember wildfire smokes is the same as burnt food that you were told not to eat because they can cause cancer. We will get through this.

We refuse to stop believing. And, we refuse to stop searching for answers.

Is everyone in Minnesota staying safe? We have record-breaking poor air qualities in the state. These particles not only make people with Long COVID and ME/CFS crash and having terrible migraines, they can cause cancer too.

Your need a high-quality air purifier with HEPA filter or MERV 13 filter to remove these potential cancer-causing fine smoke particles. They also will make your lungs work harder, in terms straining your heart and can cause heart attack. This is a serious situation. My free clinic canceled all in-person visits today and tomorrow. Hope everyone stay safe. I will be putting my cloth mask under a N95 and wearing my ski goggle when going outside and in buildings with poor air filtration if needed.
