Just in time for the upcoming warmer weather, the swings have been hung! Stop on over to St. Lawrence and check it all out! Just north of Willie's.

A HUGE thank you to Allison and Drew for their help in getting this done! One little St. Lawrence resident has already tested a couple of them out!

St. Lawrence Cares is proudly backed by the Hand County Health and Wellness Community Foundation. They've been vital to helping our "behind the scenes" administrative things run smoothly. They are a part of Hand County Memorial Hospital and we were featured in their Newsletter again this year!

The playground is officially open! Just in time for a little "warm" weather! Take some time this week and swing by to take a look and maybe try some of the equipment yourselves! 😉

We would also like to extend a HUGE thank you to all of the Miller High School Ag Class students! All grades, Freshman through Seniors had a hand in this final push to get this done today!

We will be hanging the swings soon! We will share an update when they are done.

The updates are coming faster as we keep on rolling!

Today, Andrea Mush*tz and her family rocked out a couple of our slides and "rock" wall! 💪🏼💪🏼

We are beyond greatful for the dedicated people on our St. Lawrence Cares Committee and the endless encouragement and help from our families!! Thank you all so much!

While it still isnt quite playable yet, it won't be long now!!!

We were able to get back at assembly this weekend!!! It's coming along!

A huge thank you again to Mike Werdel and Dale Simons, we couldn't have gotten this far without their knowledge and skills this weekend! And a special thanks to Eric Speck, you were just the right person to help lend an extra hand!

After so long without rain, we planned for our build day and lo and behold, a blessing of moisture!

We may be delayed for a short while but there was definitely progress made!

Big News!

It's been a little quiet around this page for a while. We just haven't had much to update on for the playground progress.

Now, we're back with a BIG update! Our equipment has been delivered!

We are working with our contractors, volunteers and other groups to get everything lined up for our build day.

As a reminder, this project has been 100% volunteer led and that's how our build will be too! Once we have a date set for building we will update here on the page and also in the Miller Press, so be on the look out!

We plan to have it up and ready for play very soon!

Through all of the chaos and hub-bub locally the last couple of months, Miller Elementary School's Student Council has organized a Penny War Fundraiser to benefit the St. Lawrence Playground!

If you would like to help support this, please stop by the "new" elementary school!

Happy New Year! 🎉

We are so excited for 2022! Everything is on track for our new playground to be built this spring!

To kick off this year with a bang, we are hosting a free will BBQ meal on January 11th during the MHS Double Header against Redfield!

Stop in to the High School commons after 4pm! We'll be serving till the foods gone!

*All proceeds will continue to support St. Lawrence Cares and the Playground Project

Final total in from tree sales at the pancake feed from last weekend. $475‼️They worked very hard and are excited to donate all funds to the playground project. Thank you for your continued support! These kids are looking forward to spring and playing with their neighbors on the new playground.
