Recently, middle and high school students came together at Ricky Dean’s for a fun-filled sober event packed with mini golf, batting cages, pickleball, rock climbing, bumper boats, and a VR experience!

These events are designed to show students that you can have an amazing time, build friendships, and make lasting memories — all without the use of alcohol or drugs. Seeing everyone laughing, competing, and enjoying themselves together was a great reminder that fun and connection don’t require substances.

Want to join us for the next sober event? Events are held on the last Tuesday of each month! Call or email to get added to the text list for upcoming activities and details:

🎓 Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓

Project Graduation 2026 was an incredible night of celebration, laughter, and memories — all in a safe, substance-free environment for our graduating seniors to enjoy together.

We would like to thank BELT Entertainment for hosting this event. Also, a huge THANK YOU to our amazing sponsors, volunteers, parents, and community supporters for your generosity and commitment to our students. Your support helped create a fun and memorable evening our graduates will never forget.

To the graduates: congratulations on this important milestone! We are proud of all you have accomplished and excited for all that lies ahead. Wishing each of you success, happiness, and bright futures as you begin your next chapter.

Thank you to our partners, Buchanan County Missouri Sheriff, Saint Joseph, Missouri Police Department and community volunteers, for helping make Prescription Take Back a success. Together, we collected an impressive 563 pounds of unused medications.

We also extend our gratitude to the Youth Volunteer Corps of St. Joseph MO, for generously dedicating their time to removing labels from pill bottles—helping ensure they can be safely recycled and reused.

We are equally thankful to Missouri American Water for bringing their mascot, Puddles, and for providing travel pill containers to members of the community.

Just a reminder that you are invited to connect and learn more at our Make Some Noise for National Fentanyl Awareness Day event Wednesday evening at Mokaska's. Anyone is welcome and we really hope to reach tweens, teens, young adults and parents so they can become more savvy about what to watch for, how to refuse instead of use, and how to help someone in trouble. See you Wednesday, April 29th from 5:00-7:00!

🎉 Parents and guardians, is coming up and it’s an exciting time for our teens! While most youth will celebrate safely without alcohol, it’s essential that adults help reinforce this sober majority.
Tip #2: Discuss the details of prom night with your teen to get a clear picture of the evening:
- Who will be driving?
- How do you want updates from your teen?
- What time will they be home?
- Who will they be with?
- Where are they permitted to go before/after prom?
