We are still on for this Saturday, May 16, Work Day at the SJJF. However, Lory’s Pl;ace is holding a run, walk, rock fundraiser at the same time. Here are directions to get to the SJJF if you come at 9. You will need to park in Whirlpool’s parking lot and walk over. If you come before 8 am and leave after 11 am, you should be able to drive all the way over in your car.

Summer's coming...and THIS is what summer in Southwest Michigan was made for!

For over 70 years, the St. Joseph Junior Foundation sailing school has been teaching sailing and water safety right here in St. Joseph. We offer welcoming, high-quality programs for ages 8 to 80+, from first-time beginners to experienced sailors.

Youth and adult classes include:
⛵ Learn to Sail
⛵ Learn to Race
⛵ Adventure Sailing
⛵ Intro to Keelboat
⛵ Women’s and Co-ed Adult Learn to Sail
⛵ Team SJJF Racing

We also offer private lessons, plus Monday Night Fun Racing and Open Sailing to keep growing your skills all summer long.
Our mission is simple: make sailing accessible and affordable. Scholarships are available.
