79+ Hospice Dogs Served. ❤️

That means 79 senior animals received love, medical care, comfort, and dignity during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

At Grey Face Rescue, our Hospice Program exists for senior animals who may never be adopted into traditional homes due to age or medical conditions. Instead, they spend their final chapter surrounded by compassion and care.

Today, we're asking for your help.

Our Hospice Program provides comfort, medical care, love, and dignity to senior animals during their final months, weeks, or days. Because of supporters like you, these beloved pets never have to face the end of life's journey alone.

Grey Face Rescue & Retirement focuses on animals age 7 and older. Founded in 2015 by Bethann Gondeck, they accept all seniors into their rescue and hospice care. They don't discriminate against specific breeds, medical conditions, behaviors or history – they believe all seniors deserve a second chance. Their volunteers work tirelessly to match each of their seniors with a specific foster for their continued care. They also seek special and educated adopters to give seniors their forever homes 🐾

A few faces that need FOSTERS ‼️ Summer is filled with vacations, family activities, camping trips, and busy schedules—and we love seeing our volunteers enjoy well-deserved time with their families. 🩶

Unfortunately, the need for rescue doesn't take a summer break.

As a 100% foster-based rescue, Grey Face Rescue can only help as many animals as we have foster homes available. During the summer months, foster availability often decreases while animals continue to need safe places to land.

Fostering is one of the most impactful ways you can make a difference. By opening your home temporarily, you provide love, stability, and a soft place to land while a senior dog waits for their forever family.
