☀️ Summer Is One of the Hardest Seasons for Foster-Based Rescues ☀️ As summer approaches, many of our amazing fosters become unavailable due to vacations, busy family schedules, camping trips, travel, and kids being home from school — and we completely understand and support that.

But unfortunately, the need for rescue never slows down during the summer months.

As a 100% foster-based rescue, we can only save dogs if we have foster homes available. Without fosters, there are animals we simply cannot help.

Opening your home temporarily can truly save a life. Fostering provides a safe place, love, and stability while these dogs wait for their forever families. 🩶

In & Out JUST LIKE THAT! That’s what we call a “Foster Fail” 😉

Don’t worry — it’s actually a wonderful thing! In rescue, a foster fail means the foster family fell so in love that they decided to make it official and adopt. In Sasha’s case, it happened pretty dang quickly… but honestly, we don’t blame them. She’s perfect!

We don’t talk about our Gives Program often, but it is something we are incredibly proud of. While we are grateful to have the resources to give back to our community, we also believe deeply in protecting the privacy and dignity of those who need support.

When we created this program, we thought about the individuals and families struggling silently — the people who may not feel comfortable asking for help publicly. That’s why our Gives Program is designed to be completely individualized and confidential.

Recipients can schedule a private appointment or participate in a group pick-up option. Pick-up locations remain private to ensure everyone feels safe, respected, and comfortable. No one should ever feel ashamed to ask for help.

Through this program, we provide monthly food and supply assistance to those in need.
