There’s still time to register for the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art’s upcoming “Sketch Inside the Missouri Theater” field trip on Wednesday, June 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore one of St. Joseph’s most treasured landmarks, learn about its rich history and architecture from Lori McAlister, and enjoy a day of self-guided sketching throughout the beautiful historic theater.

Congrats to the Lyric Singers!

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KQTV) -- A local youth choir is set to perform on stage in Helzberg Hall at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Lyric Singers of St. Joseph Youth Chorale was chosen by audition and will perform at 1:30 p.m. on June 14.

This is the fifth time the group has been accepted. Lyric Singers is one of nine groups performing at Helzberg Hall and will feature many of the works from their Spring Concert.

The group is co-directed by Karen Heyde-Lipanovich and Jackson Connors. Lori West serves as Accompanist.

The "Future Stages Festival" has been sponsored by Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts since 2014. The event exists to promote young performers.
