We’re here and ready to connect with our community!

Samaritan Counseling Center is set up tonight at International Overdose Awareness Day at Civic Center Park. This evening is about remembering those we’ve lost, supporting those who are still fighting, and reminding our community that hope, help, and recovery are possible.

Stop by our table, say hello, and learn more about the mental health and substance use services available right here in our community.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day.

Behind every statistic is a person. A family. A friend. A story that matters.

Today, we remember those whose lives have been lost to overdose, stand beside the families and loved ones carrying that loss, and support those who are still fighting.

Recovery is possible. Support is available. And no one should have to face substance use or mental health challenges alone. 💜

Backpacks are packed. Pencils are sharpened. The school year has begun…

But sometimes, the things kids carry into the classroom can’t be seen.

A new school year can bring excitement, but it can also bring anxiety, friendship struggles, academic pressure, big emotions, and changes that feel overwhelming.

At Samaritan Counseling Center, we’re here to support children and families through every season… including the back-to-school transition. 💜

If your child seems to be struggling with the adjustment, you don’t have to wait until things feel “serious” to reach out. Sometimes having a safe place to talk can make all the difference.

Here’s to a school year filled with growth, confidence, connection, and plenty of grace along the way. ✏️📚

When you’re navigating substance use, mental health challenges, or both, having support can make all the difference. Our Dual Focus Support Group is a welcoming, judgment-free space to connect with others who understand, find encouragement, and take meaningful steps toward healing.

You do not have to be a client of Samaritan Counseling Center to attend, and there is no cost to participate.

Join us every Wednesday from 5–6 PM at Samaritan Counseling Center, 902 Edmond Street, Suite 203, hosted by our Peer Support Specialist, Paige Burnett.

Come exactly as you are. 💜

Our donor wall is becoming something truly special and we have a local artist to thank for bringing our vision to life 💜

This beautiful piece was painted with care and creativity to represent the incredible people who choose to invest in the mission of Samaritan Counseling Center.

We are so grateful to Ryan Watson for donating his time and talent to create something that will become a lasting part of our story.

And to every donor whose name will become part of this tree: thank you for helping us grow hope, one person at a time!
