This year, Berrien Community Foundation awarded $587,500 to help students take the next step toward their higher education dreams! That's 82 scholarships to 77 Southwest Michigan students!

We're now accepting applications for Carolyn’s Kids, which awards two $50,000 grants to support programs that make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
Eligible nonprofits, schools, faith-based organizations and government units are encouraged to apply.

We were treated to a surprise visit from Bernice Mason with The Salvation Army - Benton Harbor, MI who stopped by with donuts to celebrate their Donate Day.

Congratulations to BCF Program Director Susan Matheny, who was honored yesterday with a Partnership Award from Berrien RESA🥳

Susan was nominated by a Berrien RESA staff member for teaching students the vital skills of scholarship writing to open doors for their future success, and teaching tips and tricks to improve grant writing for staff.

At the ceremony, they had this to say about her:
