Drop us a comment about the fun you had at InterServ when you were young!

When school is out, the gym at InterServ Community Center is filled with kids. It was nice to see all of their smiling faces shooting hoops, doing flips, rolling around and dancing! InterServ has focused on giving youth a safe place to play since 1913 when a public playground with swings, teeter-totters, slides, sand box and basketball goals were installed. We smile just thinking about of all the fun InterServ has offered kids for over 110 years.

Seniors 60+ are invited to join us for lunch at the InterServ Community Center on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for the month of November. Meals are served from 10:45am-12:15pm.

The InterServ Community Center and Bee Hive - InterServ have new hours of operation. Both the ICC and The Hive will be closed on Fridays. If you would like to drop off a donation or meet with an InterServ staff member outside of our new business hours, please call us at 816-238-4511 to make arrangements.

Meals on Wheels is not just a meal for many seniors. It is there chance to socialize, to see a friendly face and warm smile. It's an opportunity to talk with a real person, it's something they look forward to and get excited about. It's also a well-check and an added safety measure. Meals on Wheels deliveries are so much more than just a hot, nutritious meal.

InterServ is looking for volunteers to help homebound seniors in our community by providing basic yard maintenance and clean up. We have set a goal of helping 10 seniors with yard beautification services this fall. Volunteers will need to provide their own tools and equipment (gloves, rakes, clippers, etc..) and haul away the yard waste. For safety precautions, no work will be done on ladders or using power tools.
