NRLCA Armed Forces Veterans Club The AFVC of the NRLCA members is a group of rural carriers who support other carriers who served the miliary prior to joining the USPS.

Annual fundraising is done and scholarships are awarded based upon the funds collected.

Many thanks to all who supported the Armed Forces Veterans Club this year by joining, donating, and buying auction items. Between the pass the bags, membership dues, and auction items, we were able to raise a little over $11,000. This will allow us to give anyone who sent in a scholarship application a scholarship. At last count, I believe we had 98 scholarship applications. Remember, you don't have to be a veteran to join, just support the military 🇺🇸. Also a big thank you to the states that are stepping up to have a charter club in their state. May God bless you all and keep you safe and healthy 🙏

Many thanks to all who support the club!! We will have our annual meeting Wednesday August 19th 7:00am at the convention. The room number will be put out later. Hope all of you can make it. We will be discussing club business and electing officers. Not sure if we can have a 50/50 , so I am asking you all to bring items for auctions, as it may be our only source of income, other than pass the bags on the convention floor. Also, we will be looking for people to help man the booth during the week. Once again, thanks for all your help and support. See you at convention.

I would like to thank everyone who helped contribute to the AFVC table at Mid States. With the silent auction, 50/50 raffles, pass the bag, and members signing up, we were able to realize $1587 for the club. Many thanks to all ,especially those who helped me with the table!! See you all in Grapevine!!

Hope to see you all at Mid States this year. We will have a table set up to join and hopefully have a 50/50 going. If you have any items to possibly donate to the club for auction, any would be appreciated. Our dues are $5 from convention to convention and all money raised goes to the children and grandchildren of our members as scholarships. Also, you don't have to be a veteran to join and all are welcome. Stop by the AFVC table to sign up or have your questions answered. Thanks to all who support us!!
