So many amazing people have been asking how they can help, or what else we could use to support our rescue pups, and we couldn’t be more grateful. To make things easy, we’ve put together an Amazon Wish List with items we use every single day.

🐾 MEET OUR DOGS!

We love hosting "meet our dogs" events when potential adopters get to visit one on one with our dogs, and our dogs love it too! Here are the guidelines and information for our introduction appointments and events:

GDRQ's "meet our dogs" posts are simply announcements to let the public know a dog is ready to start looking for their match while their final medical checkouts or surgeries are being completed.

When a dog has been scheduled for a meet and greet, it only means they are behaviorally and socially prepared to meet a potential adopter(s) in person to observe compatibility with the person(s), families and their other pets, if applicable.

This DOES NOT mean the dog is ready to leave our care.

This DOES NOT guarantee adoption.

Among other pre-adoption requirements and procedures, every dog in our program is spayed or neutered before its adoption will be finalized. We strictly follow rescue safety protocols to prevent pet overpopulation.

🐾 Meet Lefty! 🐾

Lefty is a sweet 1½-year-old possible Lab mix who is looking for a patient home where he can continue learning and growing. ❤️

Lefty has been housed with another dog, but he has shown some reactivity toward other dogs while in his kennel, so slow and careful introductions will be important.

He’s still working on his leash manners and isn’t particularly interested in getting into a car. On the bright side, he doesn’t seem bothered by other sounds and appears to be potty trained, going as soon as he was let out of his kennel!
