🎨🇺🇸 Calling all young artists ages 3–12! 🇺🇸🎨
The Cpl. Joe McCarthy Foundation and The Market at St. Johns are hosting “The Great 1776 Signing Day Art Contest” — a fun and creative opportunity for kids to celebrate freedom, history, and imagination through art!
There are age-based themes for children to participate in, and submissions will be accepted from June 1st through July 10th, 2026, with a submission deadline of Wednesday, July 1st, 2026.
🖍 Drop-off Location: The Market at St. Johns 1135 W Cleveland St
This is such a wonderful way to encourage creativity, patriotism, and community involvement in our youth. Be sure to check out the flyer below for full contest details and age group themes!

This weekend, a group of men working away from home came together with their coworkers alongside Janel, and her amazing staff at Motel 6 in Safford to support the families we serve. After hearing our pantry was in need of diapers and wipes, they stepped up in a big way and collected an incredible donation for our community. ❤️

Many of these individuals were unable to spend Mother’s Day with their own mothers and families, so they chose to honor mothers in our community instead — by helping make sure local parents have essentials for their babies. That kind of kindness and compassion speaks volumes.

We are beyond grateful for the generosity, support, and heart shown this weekend. These diapers and wipes will make a real difference for families right here at home.

If you’d like to get involved and give back, our pantry is always accepting donations of diapers, baby essentials, non-perishable foods, and hygiene items.

You can also support our current food drive benefiting the Northern Arizona Community Food Project, proudly supported by Key Cannabis in Springerville. Every donation helps support neighbors in need throughout our community. 🩷
