The Election Committee did not receive any Letters of Intent to Run for this year’s election. Therefore, the current 5 Directors will continue to serve until the next successful election, which will be attempted in 2020. The Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 25th at 10:00 am at Parcel 181 on N6417 (Off of Apache County Road 6040 inside Gate 3). Meeting announcements will be mailed before the end of April.

At yesterday's Board meeting, the Board set the 2019 Annual Assessment at $105. In an effort to continue to be fiscally responsible, the Board approved a budget that includes an increase in the Road Maintenance budget while cutting costs in other areas. This allowed us to submit a balanced budget while keeping the Annual Assessment the same. Invoices are in the mail and should be to you soon. You can make an online payment on our website.

We did NOT achieve a quorum for the annual election, again. Your Board of Directors currently remains as follows: Todd Palmerton, President; David Modrell, Vice President; Sean Kienle, Secretary; Lois Modrell; Stu Siebens. Also, John Brooks (who is not a director) will serve as Treasurer. Thank you to those who sent in your ballots!

We would like to clear up the issue of the false accusations against the Board of Directors of tampering with the election. The Board of Directors sent out Letters of Intent to run for the Board in late March. Letters of Intent were due back to the Association no later than April 21st. To date, we have only received 2 Letters of Intent to run for the Board, apart from the 5 incumbent candidates. John Brooks's and Samuel Head's Letters of Intent were both received prior to the deadline. We have not intentionally withheld any names from the ballot. We did not receive any Letters of Intent that were disregarded. Unfortunately, it seems that 2 potential candidates (TL Johnson & Donna Johnson) had sent in their Letters of Intent, but they were not received by the Association. Therefore, we prepared the ballots you have received. Please remember that we DO ACCEPT write-in candidates. If you would like to vote for TL Johnson or Donna Johnson, or any other candidate that does not appear on the ballot, please feel free to cast your votes accordingly and write in those names. We apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience this has caused. In future elections we will recommend that all interested candidates send their Letters of Intent by Certified Mail to help ensure proper delivery.
