**Trash Bash Success**

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing 43 volunteers who showed up and made a difference today! Together, we collected 119 pounds of trash from beautiful Vilano Beach. Your dedication helps protect our ecosystems and keep our community clean and vibrant.

Special shoutout to new County Commissioner, Ann Taylor, for stopping by! We truly appreciate your time and willingness to learn about the impact of human debris on our environment. Your interest in protecting our ecosystems gives us hope for the future!

Despite the chill in the air, Keep St. Johns County Beautiful and Sol Margin Fishing teamed up with the West Augustine Improvement Association, the West Augustine Nature Society, and other incredible organizations to make a difference on this meaningful day of service.

Together, our amazing group of volunteers helped remove over 2,000 pounds of trash from the West Augustine area! 💪🌍

A huge thank you to our hosts and every volunteer who braved the cold to help improve our community. Your hard work and dedication honor Dr. King’s legacy in the best way possible.

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. reminded us:
“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.”

🫱🏾‍🫲🏻 Join the annual MLK Day of Service Community Cleanup event in St. Augustine.

Come out and be a part of a community of changemakers on MLK Day 2025. Join a community of kindness, become a part of a movement for good, and surround yourself with the spirit of hope, love, and service.

Last year, around 250 people from all over Florida came out to be a part of MLK Day in St Augustine.

This family-friendly event is hosted by the West Augustine Nature Society and the West Augustine Improvement Association in partnership with local community groups, clubs, schools, and businesses.

🌟 Huge Congratulations to Elizabeth Joshi! 🌟

We are beyond proud to celebrate Elizabeth’s incredible recognition as the Volunteer of the Year at the Keep Florida Beautiful Conference! This well-deserved award is a testament to her commitment to a cleaner, healthier community. Elizabeth has taken the lead in northern St Johns County, forming the Ponte Vedra Litter Crew and inspiring citizens to join monthly cleanups. She has also previously partnered with the Life Work group of young adults with diverse exceptionalities to learn about debris and organized cleanup efforts.

Elizabeth’s hard work and passion truly embody what it means to make a difference. Thank you, Elizabeth, for all that you do to keep our community beautiful! 🌍💚
