Meet Reggie & Emmett, two adorable 10-year-old Shih Tzu mix brothers looking for their next happily ever after!

These boys were cherished members of a family, but sadly, their dad was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for them. 💔 Now they’re hoping to find another family with enough love for this duo!

👑 Reggie is 11 lbs of pure boss energy. He’s the little brother, but clearly management!

🥰 Emmett is 13 lbs of sweet, slightly shy fluff who happily lets his brother run the show with the most adorable underbite.

They’ve spent their entire lives together, and that’s exactly how we intend to keep them! ❤️

✅ Fully vetted and ready to go!

Lahani is a gentle, loyal soul still waiting for her forever home.

Approximately 2 years old and 53 lbs, Lahani is a pit mix who was picked up by animal control after being dumped with her six newborn puppies. She has been with her foster family since late July. All of her puppies have been adopted, and now Momma is ready for her turn.

Lahani is:
• House, potty, and crate trained
• Familiar with basic commands and has reliable recall in a fenced yard or on a long line
• Gentle and tolerant with toddlers
• Playful and respectful with a large resident dog
• A loving cuddle bug who enjoys being near her people. Moderate energy level outdoors
• Sits respectfully for baths and nail trims

Lahani walks nicely on leash and is gaining confidence every day. New sights and sounds can sometimes scare her, but she continues to make progress.

She currently lives with two cats, though they hide, so her compatibility with cats cannot be fully evaluated. She may do well with a dog-savvy cat and slow, thoughtful introductions.

Lahani is fully vetted.

After losing her owner, 11-year-old Zoey is ready for a new chapter and a family to call her own.

Update! Doug was adopted!

Remember the little Pug found wandering in Highland? Well, his owners never reached out, so he officially has a name: Doug.

Doug is approximately 2 years old and is one seriously happy little guy. He’s friendly with people, dogs, and cats, and seems pretty pleased with just about everything life throws at him.

He went to the vet yesterday and unfortunately Doug tested heartworm positive. The good news is that he is still available for adoption, and we will cover the cost of his heartworm treatment at our vet in Naperville.

He’s ready to find the family that gets to call this goofy little face theirs. ❤️
