Mostly brand-new Stafford County 4-H meat judging team delivered an exceptional performance at Oklahoma State University. Two members finished in the top 10, and the team was named reserve champion and placed third overall. It was a fun group of nine girls and two boys to work with. They visited the Cargill Food Innovation Center in Wichita, dined at Eskimo Joe's, and toured the OSU campus in Stillwater before competing on Saturday morning, April 18.

New this year - the FCS Judging Contest will be held June 4, 2026 on the K-State Campus, Justin Hall, Manhattan, Ks..
It will also be offered as an optional session for Discovery Day participants!
Open to ALL youth ages 9-18 (youth can participate as individuals or as a team of 3-4 youth)

Thanks to a generous Bill House Ag Grant through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas, scholarships are available for 4‑H’ers to attend K‑State College of Veterinary Medicine’s VetMed Rocks Summer Camps!
These exciting one‑day camps are perfect for youth who love animals and want to explore veterinary science 👩‍⚕️🐶🐮

🐴 Monday, July 27 – High School (entering grades 9–12) & College
🐾 Tuesday, July 28 – Middle School (entering grades 6–8)
