We are volunteers coordinating the generosity of many to help those recently affected by wildfire in Malden & Pine City, WA.

🇺🇸 THIS SATURDAY! 🇺🇸 Saturday, May 22 will be a day to honor our veterans. Ruck for the Fallen is a regional group which undertakes long marches with heavy backpacks ("rucksacks") to recognize and raise funds for the families of service members and first responders who have fallen in the line of duty ("Gold Star Families), as well as veterans in need of assistance. On Saturday, they will march 13 miles from Malden through Pine City to St. John as part of this quest. .

They will depart from the site of the Malden Fire Station at 9:00 am with a sendoff by Mayor Dan Harwood, and arrive at St John at 1:00 pm. There will then be a picnic in the park with hot dogs and refreshments. Everyone is welcome to these events. Please turn out to show your support for those who are supporting our soldiers and first responders!

At 11:30 am we will host a luncheon for Malden & Pine City veterans at the Rialto Bar and Grill in St. John. This lunch is for veterans and their invited guests. To reserve your seat, please RSVP to Melissa at 360 927-3745.
