🥎 Riverdale 8U Nucor Insulated Panel Group finished their season as Runner-Up! 🥈💚💛

This young group of girls showed tremendous growth all season long and should be incredibly proud of how hard they played from start to finish! 👏

But what stands out most about this team is the love and compassion they have for one another. When a teammate was injured during the championship game, they never left her side, and both teams agreed to postpone the game. They returned tonight with one extra tough teammate playing alongside them and battled hard until the very end. 💚

🥎 Riverdale’s 12U Boomsaver Softball Team finishes as Runner-Up in their End of Season Tournament! 🥈💚💛

“We battled it out with DeKalb FOP for 6 innings in the championship and fell just short, 6-5. Probably one of the best rec softball games you could see in the area. Congratulations to Josh Lee, all your girls, and coaches — it’s always a fun battle when these two teams meet on the ball field.”

This team has shown a work ethic like no other. From putting in the time at practices and battling hard in every game, to taking pride in their home field and spending countless hours helping maintain the Vulcraft Diamond — these boys have been an incredible representation of our community!

Riverdale’s 14U Nucor Fastener Softball team goes UNDEFEATED and named End of Season Tournament CHAMPIONS 🏆🥎

This group of girls set out with a goal, then put in the work and left it all out on the field to make sure they accomplished it.

We are proud of your grit & determination!! 💪🏼 Congratulations on a phenomenal season!

And just like that, the 8U Boys season comes to an end! ⚾️

Riverdale’s 8U Reas Family Carpentry team battled it out against Butler 1 for the championship title last night, but came up just short in a hard-fought 9-7 game.

Congratulations to Bobcat Youth League on taking home the championship rings, and congratulations to our Riverdale boys for playing hard until the very end and earning their Runner-Up rings!

So proud of ALL of our 8U boys teams and the growth they showed throughout the season! 👏⚾️
