September is the beginning of autumn, so this month the sermon series is "Fall Back Into the Arms of God". We will be reading the Psalms as we learn about talking with God, trusting God, hoping in the promises of God, and forgiveness from God and our forgiveness of others. Hope to see you in worship--Sundays 11 AM.

Thank you church for your generous offering to Mobility Worldwide. This mission provides carts for those who cannot walk on their own. The carts are made in Columbia, MO and shipped to 106 countries. This mission was begun years ago by Rev. Mel West a United Methodist pastor and conference leader who had a heart for those who lacked mobility because of a physical challenge. Our love offering was $640! Praise God!

Today is the day! St. James women and any guests are welcome to a luncheon at the Public Brewing House. The doors will open at noon. We will have a time of fellowship as we gather around a common table. Best part...we don't cook and we don't clean up!
Come and enjoy others who love the Lord.

Grape and Fall Festival parade will be September 12. We will again provide free popcorn and cold water. Did I say free? Yep, it will be free! But we need the water, so we are asking all members to bring bottled water to church. We need a lot! Let's see if we can collect and bless 600 bottles of water to hand out to thirsty people. Thanks church, you are so generous and God is so good all the time!

The Ladies Luncheon will be on Wednesday August 26 beginning at noon. We will meet at the Public Brewing House. This will be a time of fellowship around a common table. Everyone can order from the menu and are responsible for their own checks. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there, so mark your calendars.
