Happy Seventh Day of Climate Smart Week 2026! The daily theme for today is:

**Pick Up Litter Where You Live**

Make the Earth a little bit healthier by helping to clean up your neighborhood, a park, or downtown. Make sure to dispose of litter properly and recycle what is recyclable. ♻️

REMEMBER that the City of St. James is offering city-wide clean-up at the Meadowlark Compost Site from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. free to city residents.

Climate Smart Week is here! Climate Smart St. James has coordinated a week's worth of educational programs and activities in conjunction with Earth Day and Arbor Day - fun and learning all week long!
Watch for Facebook posts focusing on a daily climate smart 'theme' and additional resources, and check this schedule for events and activities that interest you. To encourage and reward your participation in Climate Smart Week, use the "Participation Bingo" and checklist to track your efforts during the week. You can pick up a hard copy of the form at the library or download your own copy here:
