The stage is set for Week 1 of Playoffs.

We will need admission gate workers and 3 chain gang workers for each home game. If you would like to volunteer, please message our page. It takes a village and the success of hosting home games counts on volunteers like yourself!

We appreciate everyone's willingness to help this season.

**As of 2:00 pm on Friday, WJFL's 3rd grade team has forfeited tomorrow's game. There will NOT be a 3rd grade game tomorrow. 6th grade will remain at 1:30 due to WJFL 6th grade team being unable to play any earlier. Thank you for your understanding.**

Game times have been changed tomorrow, 9/19/26, due to the extreme heat forecasted. Please review the new start times below. Reach out to your coaches if you have any questions.

If you previously agreed to volunteer to work the admission gate or chain gang tomorrow, we are working on contacting you to discuss the changes and confirm you are still available.

Tomorrow is Youth Football Night at the Varsity Tigers vs Cuba/Steelville football game!

Players will need to meet their coaches at the Fieldhouse at 7:45 prior to game time, where they will be paired up with Varsity Players and run to the field with the Varsity Team. Kids will immediately be escorted off of the field afterwards and sent to their parents for the first half of the game. *Players should wear game day jerseys, black-side out, and gym shorts*

At halftime, players need to return to the fieldhouse for a halftime presentation with their coaches and teammates.

6th graders who have met the qualifications, will be recognized with Iron Man Awards.

❗️Children are expected to sit with their parents during the football game. School administration is on-site and will send your children back to you. ❗️Absolutely no playing on the grassy areas around the football field.

T-shirts are done and will be handed out tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at practice.

Coaches have been sent a link to a signupgenius for volunteers to work the admission gate for home games. Each team has assigned time slots. Please volunteer as it takes a village to make the season successful.

Thank you!

We still need volunteers! Your head coach has the link to sign up.
Even if you don't volunteer, make sure you swing by, grab dinner, and look for your player's name on the windows for a photo op!
