🥳 Exciting News from National Beta! 🥳
During the recent National Beta board meeting held in Savannah this June, we approved updates to our organization’s constitution, marking a new chapter in our commitment to excellence and leadership development.
One of the most notable changes is the introduction of a new pledge for all members. This pledge consolidates the previous Elementary/Junior and Senior Beta Club pledges into a single, unified pledge, suitable for all Beta members from 4th through 12th grade. It retains the essence of Beta’s mission, vision, and pillars while providing modern and age-appropriate updates. The new pledge reads:
“As a proud member of National Beta, I pledge to be honest and truthful, maintain academic excellence, and conduct myself in an ethical manner. I am dedicated to serving others and contributing to the collective success of my peers.”

In addition to the pledge, the board approved a change in the number of official officer positions. We’ve streamlined the positions to include only President, Vice President, and Secretary, aligning with the structure at both the national and state levels. The roles of Treasurer, Historian, Chaplain, and Reporter have been removed as required positions, allowing clubs the freedom to add any additional officer positions that best fit their needs and culture.
