🇺🇸 What an Incredible Success! 🇺🇸
The inaugural 2026 Women Veterans Health Care Summit, hosted by American Legion Post 543, was a tremendous success and an inspiring milestone for women veterans across southeastern North Carolina.
Over two days, women veterans, health care professionals, VA representatives, service providers, and community partners came together to learn, connect, and address the unique health care needs of women who have served our nation. Attendees participated in informative presentations, engaging breakout sessions, and meaningful discussions focused on improving access to care, wellness resources, and support services.
The summit provided a powerful opportunity to build new partnerships, share experiences, identify barriers to care, and empower women veterans with practical information and resources. The energy, collaboration, and commitment demonstrated by everyone in attendance confirmed the importance of continuing this conversation and expanding support for women veterans in our communities.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our speakers, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and every attendee who helped make this first-of-its-kind event such a success. Your dedication and passion made a lasting impact.
Special appreciation to American Legion Richard H. Stewart, Jr. Post 543, the planning committee, and all those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this vision to life.
Together, we are strengthening connections, improving health outcomes, and ensuring that women veterans receive the recognition, resources, and care they deserve.
