Happy Friyay!!!! The ceiling tiles are here!!!! And the scaffolding needed to put them up!
So let's make a deal..... I'll post the pics of the latest on the building ( ceiling tiles and scaffolding, etc and you guys send us $5. Deal? $20 is better because then we just need 500 people to do it but if 2000 people gave $5 each we can order the concrete!!!

The ceiling tiles are going to be great because it will make it so much easier to cool the building with much lower ceilings. Ray and Tryston Cook will be doing their best but as neither have done this before it will be a learning experience for both. But we have faith that they will do a fantastic job 👏

Here's a fun update on stars. We have received 360 stars this week on posts and its made us $3.60. Not alot no BUT every dollar counts, so if when you hit comment on a post and see the option to send stars, we'd love it if you did!!!

Also I'm thinking of ways to make our subscription members really worth it, like maybe raffling off a tshirt from our Bonfire store of your choice monthly? This raffle would only be among the subscribers and cost you nothing. So just wanted to update you there and also we are slowly adding our pups to Adopt a Pet so let everyone know 😊

HAPPY THURSDAY!!!!
Is it really happy? Nah not so much because we still don't have the money to pour concrete.
But work is progressing slowly on the outside kennels and on the inside of the building with our rescues literal ROCK behind the scenes, Ray Hendrix and our contractor Tryston Cook.
We should have some pics soon so you can see the progress. I ~ Mandy ~ just wanted to say hello and remind everyone that without Ray, there would be no Decator's Place/Mid Missouri Malamute Rescue . Honestly he does not get the credit he deserves for all the work he does, for the dogs, with the dogs, etc.

So everyone have a fantastic day and please remember tomorrow on payday that every dollar counts towards the $10,000 we need to pour concrete, which again Ray plans to do himself to save money. Let me tell you pouring an 80' long piece ( the center) of floor of this magnitude is not for the faint of heart. I've actually done it myself in my younger days, it's hard and it sucks.

So progress picks soon and until then a picture of our beautiful Hunter who is STILL up for adoption and I can't figure out why, he is literally THE perfect dog.
Except he is a champion hole digger, but hey no biggie .. throw some plants on those holes he digs and you’re good to go🤷‍♂️

I want to bring up something that kinda bothers me, I'm going to use Nyla as an example because she is beautiful.

We were begged to take Nyla and because we were the only thing between her and a black garbage bag ( sorry folks, reality check for those that believe all dogs in shelters get a home), well we did what we always do and saved her.

Whether she was an Alaskan Malamute or not ( she's not) we couldn't let her die and this is common with 99% of our dogs. Everyone who begs us to save this or that dog, their time is running out, blah,blah,blah, just this one more, all have one thing in common.

Guess what it is? Now Angela will never say anything because she's nicer than I am and because she has no time too. She's to busy trying to support this rescue on her own.

The one thing that all networrkers, taggers have in common is that when we say we need help, they can't be bothered to send us even $5. As soon as we do as they want, they disappear and leave it for all of you, our faithful rescue family, to try to help us. And this is not just us, it's all rescues. All of us rescues do the best we can, and you just abandon us as soon as we help as you ask, and the people who pledge money on these dogs they want saved, p**f they're gone as well.

So I'll say again to all networkers, taggers and pledgers,
WE NEED HELP TOO!!!! RESCUES DO NOT HAVE MAGICAL MONEY TREES! DO YOU KNOW WHAT JUST $5 FROM EACH OF YOU WOULD DO FOR US RESCUES???

We still need $40,000 to finish this kennel building that is already full of dogs that people begged us to take 😭😭

Ok so it's hump day as it is Wednesday, what that means is that we REALLY need to pull out all the stops to get that $10,000 for the concrete. For those of you that are on Instagram and TikTok can you REALLY push this. We need the funds like yesterday.

We have only gotten $145 in raffle tickets on the quilt, which incidently, all proceeds will go towards concrete. But there is a week and half left on that so hopefully we will get ALOT more ticket sales on that. We normally can raise $1000 on one of these gorgeous quilt raffles, so I'm a bit sad on this, we haven't even hit what I ( Mandy) paid for it yet. But like I said we still have a week and a half.

But this week we need to push this fundraiser like crazy. We have 7600 followers, yay for us!!, so getting this amount shouldn't be that hard when we only need 500 of them to donate $20, just like I did.

So PLEASE donate just $20 and share everywhere!! If you are in Missouri, please hit up the owner for a tax deductible donation plus we are always happy to promote them on social media.

So I know it's really hard to believe but cold weather is coming and we are kinda stuck. We CANNOT complete the building without the concrete we need for the center of the building. It will cost roughly $10,000 to purchase the amount needed and folks the well has run dry. Our wonderful sponsor for the outdoor kennels has more than done their part, the person who offered $1000 match was amazing in their assistance in removing those trees and Angela and Ray have sunk all the money they can into materials for this building while also carrying the $600 monthly building payment and the $800 light bill.

We desperately need YOUR help. I know it's not Friday, it's Monday, and if you can't donate til Friday, it's all good. But this needs to happen NOW because we have so much to do before it's cold, mainly seal the concrete after it's poured. So please if there was ever a time for to donate $20, now is the time.
