Tryston Cook has done an amazing job on this building. He is doing quality work with amazing speed.

I know we are already begging for money for food. But at the same time we still need to fundraise to finish this building. We will probably be able to pour concrete at the end of June, but we need to pay for it.

Can everyone help? Even $10 from all of you will get this done and even buy food!

The heat index in Missouri was 106 the other day, can you help us get these pups inside?

Beau and Bianca are a bonded pair who have been with us for almost 3 years. They are approximately 8 years old and until they came to us, they were very spoiled inside pets.

While they are not fond of other dogs in the home its basically because they don't like to share their human. Cats are an unknown, they haven't been tested.

They came close to a home once but the prospective adopters backed out when they discovered that Bianca is a mini Malamute. She's a Malamute hands down, just pocket sized and true to any female moot, rules the roost.

These 2 are so sweet and deserving, they just want a home with their humans, no other dogs and their very own couch. Fun fact, they came from an Italian speaking home 🤣

Hi everyone! We so appreciate all of you that sent food which will certainly help with our immediate concerns.

But we are trying to raise enough to buy a pallet from our friends at Curler’s Country Feeds and Farm Supplies LLC . It's $1200 for a pallet

Brody would like everyone to know that while he understands that rescue is tough and his human servants are working so very hard on the building. However he has other priorities, namely food.

And since no trucks are showing up bearing ANY dogfood company logo, despite some being very local, we will once again need to buy some.

So many people have asked about updates on certain dogs so I thought I would just do this publicly and get it out of the way.

As a lot of you know I have been very ill for over a year now …. a Specialist appointment I have waited six months for is finally happening tomorrow so hopefully we will finally find some things out🙏🏻 but I am very limited on energy and just feel like garbage in general! Walking through the house requires a three hour nap to recover .. so I am WAY behind getting dog videos and photos.

On top of this my mother was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and my disabled daughter is needing surgery which is requiring multiple doctors visits. So I have a ton on my plate right now and dog videos, photos, assessments, etc have taken a back seat… I’m merely trying to survive right now. And honestly trying to throw anything else on my already overworked husband is not fair.

So please be patient with me… I’ll get there… eventually.

*As KiKi says… right now we are just really exhausted 😴

🐾❤️ TACOMA ❤️🐾

I know, I know... we just posted Tacoma the other day.
But honestly? This boy deserves another post.
Because every single day he proves to us that he is one of those dogs people spend years looking for after he's already gone.

You know the type.

The dog that gets adopted and then six months later everyone is messaging saying, "Do you have another one like him?"

Kind of like Chibbs.

The problem is, everyone wants a dog like that AFTER they're gone.
Nobody seems to notice them while they're standing right in front of them.
Tacoma is that dog.

This boy does not have a mean bone in his body. If people and other animals are kind to him, he's kind right back. It's really that simple.

When he first arrived, he was understandably uncomfortable with people messing with his collar. Given where he came from, can you really blame him?
But the more time he's spent here, the more he's realized that we're not the people who failed him.
For a long time now not a single issue regarding his collar.
Not one!

Because once Tacoma figured out he was safe, he transformed into the sweetest gentleman you could ever hope to meet.

He takes treats incredibly gently.
He walks nicely on a leash.
He loves toys.
He loves belly rubs.
He loves car rides.
He loves being with his people.
And most of all, he loves being loved.

That's it.
No drama.
No nonsense.
Just a genuinely good dog who wants someone to call his own.

The crazy thing is that if Tacoma had already been adopted and everyone was hearing how wonderful he is, we'd probably have applications lined up asking for "another Tacoma."
Well...
You don't need another Tacoma.
We already have Tacoma.
Right here.
Waiting.

Don't make the mistake of overlooking a truly amazing dog because you're searching for perfection.
Perfection is already sitting here waiting for someone to notice him.

And I can promise you this:
If Tacoma becomes part of your family, you'll never regret it.
