Operation Open Arms Operation Open Arms connects active-duty US Servicemen/women who are battling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, with the mental help they need.

Through a network of volunteers in Lee County, Florida and Maryland, active-duty US Troops are treated with dignity and respect while in treatment for PTSD.

Capt John “GiddyUp” Bunch!
Happy 248th Birthday to my U.S. Marine Huzzband. After his honorable service, he has been awarded the highest US Navy & Marine medal awarded to a Civilian as The Founder of Operation Open Arms. As well, A Salute from the Joint Chief of Staff and The Army Outstanding Civilian Service Medal. He is affectionately known as “Skipper to Our Troops.” He serves to this day.
