We had the honor to have incredible folks from Mission Mountain Empowerment visit our ranch and our blind horses today!
We have partnered up with MME (Mission Mountain Empowerment) to provide a healing and therapeutic connection and bond between each individual at MME and with our blind horses here at LES Haven Ranch!
MME is a non-profit organization here in Lake County, Montana, that provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live more independent and inclusive lives through residential support, day programs, employment opportunities, and vocational training. Established in 1975, MME focuses on empowering people to have a voice in their lives, find paying jobs, and integrate into the community, moving away from institutional care.
We look forward to this journey with MME and the future that this provides for both MME and LES Haven Ranch! This has been something I have been really dreaming to do with LES Haven, having those who are handicapped and those with disabilities to share such a beautiful connection and have a therapeutic journey with our visually impaired horses.
God’s beauty is in all things and today, we saw His light shine through everyone ✨what a blessing of a day it was!

Thank you 🙏🏼 in the meantime, we are going to think of ways on how we can better accommodate these amazing individuals at our ranch so that they can have a better experience! One idea we had was to pave a pathway around our arena, we definitely need bathrooms (as we only have ours in our trailer for folks! If any of y’all have ideas, we are open to hear them (or read them 😏)! We want to figure the numbers to have this done for them! Thanks again y’all and God bless!
