Union Brothers & Sisters,

Our office has received numerous phone calls and emails concerning the "soft close" of our public schools and full closure of the higher education campuses. We are in contact with State officials, our national union, and our local union leaders who give us frequent updates about Covid-19 and how that affects our worksites.

I assure you that we are monitoring numerous situations and we will support our members and their colleagues thought this pandemic. As needs and situations arise, we will address them and take appropriate actions.

Our AFT Utah office remains open. However we will be limiting contact with the public and if necessary, we will be working from our homes if required. Members will still have full access to us via phone and email.

Please stay safe and take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
