As we enjoy time with family and celebrate the freedoms we’re blessed with, we pause in gratitude for the sacrifices that made those moments possible.

Do you know what else is vital to our Field Day success? The VOLUNTEERS! 💙❤️

The ones who showed up early, stayed late, got absolutely drenched, lost their voices cheering on kids, tied shoes, solved problems, handed out smiles, and somehow kept the energy going all day long. ☀️💦📣

Field Day simply would not happen without your support, encouragement, patience, and willingness to jump in wherever needed. Our students felt so loved, celebrated, and cheered on today—and that’s because of YOU.

Thank you for helping create the kind of school memories these kids will never forget. We appreciate every single one of you more than you know! 🙌

🎒 Has your child outgrown their uniforms? We’d love your gently used GWA uniforms!

Uniform donations will be collected in the school office from Tuesday, May 19 through Thursday, June 4, 2026. Your donations help support fellow GWA families by making uniforms more affordable at our upcoming summer Uniform Sale (date coming soon 👀).

This is one of the many ways our GWA community helps take care of each other ❤️💙

☀️ Reminder: Field Day is next week! Students will have FREE DRESS on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please make sure outfits are school appropriate, including appropriate length shorts/tops and closed-toed shoes for all the fun and activities! They will be getting wet at Field Day so a towel and change of clothes is a great idea.

And of course, water bottles and plenty of sunscreen!

🇺🇸 Congratulations to our amazing 5th graders on completing the Give Me Liberty program! ❤️🤍💙

What an incredible experience watching these students learn about history, leadership, freedom, and the foundations of our country. We are so proud of all the hard work, confidence, and dedication they showed throughout the program.

Way to go, 5th grade! Your GWA family is cheering you on every step of the way! ⭐

Totally tubular day at GWA! 🤘🎸✨

Our teachers and faculty absolutely understood the assignment for 80s Day and showed up looking radical! From neon and leg warmers to big hair and throwback vibes, the school was basically one giant mixtape today. 📼💿

Teacher Appreciation Week has been, like… totally awesome thanks to these amazing humans who pour so much love, patience, energy, and heart into our kids every single day. 💙❤️

Can we get a collective “Gag me with a spoon!” for how fun these outfits were?! 😂
