Soldiers of Bravo Battery 2nd Battalion 222nd Field Artillery roll out the M109A6 Paladin in the 2024 Washington City Veterans Day Celebration Parade this morning with the help of local JROTC cadets. The parade was led by the Grand Marshal, Kelly Kleinman, also a distinguished member of the Triple Deuce Regiment. Thank you Washington City for the invitation and honoring our veterans! This is cool. Published in WALT DISNEY’S COMICS AND STORIES #48, Sept.1944. Also used on the Mar. 18-24 1945 St. Louis student bus pass. The “Triple Duece” fought in the Mariana and Philippine Islands of the Pacific and finished their combat tour on Okinawa.
