On Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office assisted the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office in a high-speed pursuit of a blue 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. The chase reached speeds over 75 MPH! 🚔💨

Stop sticks were deployed, successfully disabling the vehicle, which continued for another 9 miles on its rims before finally stopping at Criptfoot Road and Saint Mark Bowman Road.

Both the driver, 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸, and the passenger, 𝗧𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀, were taken into custody. They are facing charges related to the pursuit.

𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: “This incident is a reminder of the vital importance of collaboration across jurisdictions.
