📚 Small acts of service can open up a world of possibilities! In honor of Rotary International September literacy month, our club collected books and donated them to Root for Kids. We loved coming together to help put stories into little hands and encourage a love of reading, learning, and imagination. Thank you to everyone who contributed! 💛

It’s the last day of Child Passenger Safety Week! This week we shared helpful tips on how to keep your children safe while riding in the car. This video and information was provided to us by the Utah Department of Public Safety.

Tip Five: Know when to upgrade your car seat!
- Max Limits: Keep your child in their current seat until they max out the height or weight limits.
- Check Labels: Always follow the specific instructions on your car seat.

We’re on day four of Child Passenger Safety Week! Each day we are sharing helpful tips on how to keep your children safe while riding in the car. This video and information was provided to us by the Utah Department of Public Safety.

Tip Four: Test your car seat installation with the 1-inch test:
- Lock It: Pull the seatbelt all the way out to engage the locking mechanism.
- Wiggle Room: Test the seat at the belt path. It shouldn't move more than 1 inch.

Tip Three: Rear-facing is the safest way to ride:
Protect the Spine: Rear-facing protects a child's head, neck, and spine in a crash. �Wait it Out: Keep them rear-facing until at least age two, or until they hit the seat's max weight limit.

- Chest Clip: Place at armpit level, never the stomach.
- Pinch Test: If you can pinch the harness webbing, it's too loose!

Here’s our first tip of the week. This information and this video was provided to us by UDPS.

Tip #1: Don’t skip the top tether for forward-facing seats!
- Anchor It: Secure the top tether strap to your vehicle's marked anchor point.
- Reduce Movement: The tether stops the seat from pitching forward, protecting your child's head in a crash.

Certified technicians will help make sure your child’s seat is installed safely and correctly, and they will confirm that the seat is the right fit and type for your child’s age, height, and weight. No appointment is needed.

Join us and get peace of mind knowing your little one is riding as safely as possible. If your current seat does not pass inspection, we will make sure your child has a safe and appropriate seat before you leave. 🩷💚🩵

We’re partnering with Keep Music Alive, a national nonprofit dedicated to helping more children and families experience the benefits of music.

To celebrate, we’re hosting TWO FREE special Kindermusik events!
