Come join our open meeting held the 1st Wednesday of every month. October meeting is tomorrow, October 7th. Board Meeting is 4:00 pm at the St George Library, followed by the member meeting and social held at the Black Bear Diner on South Main Street at 5:30 pm. Bring a friend!!

Everyone is invited to attend our chapter meetings! We have several educational presentations throughout the year about topics that relate to public lands and trails in our area, and information to help us take better care or our equine partners.

Opportunity to give back to your public lands!

Public Lands Day Work Project at Red Mountain Trailhead - Sat, Sep 26 9:00 am.
Volunteers needed to remove tumbleweeds at the trailhead and walking them to a dumpster. Bring gloves, pitchfork or a sturdy rake and your smile!

The Back Country Horsemen of Utah Southwest Chapter won this beautiful buckle for the “Best Rodeo Theme” entry in the Dixie Round Up Parade! The theme this year was Rebuilt, Reborn, and Ready to Ride, celebrating the grand re‑opening of the new Dixie Sunbowl Stadium.

Eight of our fifteen riders were youth, and we are so proud and happy to see the next generation stepping up with such confidence, horsemanship, and heart. They represent a bright future for our chapter and our local riding community.

The BCHA Utah Southwest Chapter proudly rode in the Dixie Round Up Rodeo Parade in downtown St. George on Saturday!
We had 15 mounted riders — including many amazing youth 🤠 — plus a walk‑along chaperone and three members riding in a beautifully restored vintage 1967 GMC truck driven by Conrad Engeness.
Thank you to everyone who participated and cheered us on along the route. What a fantastic day for our chapter!

It’s Rodeo Week and our chapter is participating again in the Dixie Round Up Parade this Saturday, September 19th. The parade route begins at 200 West and proceeds down 100 South and ends at 600 East. Parade begins at 9:00 am and we are early in the line up. So come out and support and cheer us on. If you are interested in riding in the parade with your equine please RSVP as soon as possible on our website.

Be part of a cherished St. George tradition by joining the 91st Annual Lions Dixie Round-Up Rodeo Parade. This year's theme, "Rebuilt, Reborn, and Ready to Ride" celebrates the grand re-opening of the new Dixie Sunbowl Stadium.

Come enjoy a private trail ride & potluck at the Duvall Ranch in Enterprise Utah. The Duvalls have created a fun obstacle course and 6 mile ride in the hills behind the ranch. We will ride through an old burn area and enjoys views of the valley. Bring a dish to share for a barbecue after the ride!
