🧗‍♂️ We are excited to offer a 5-week hands-on canyoneering program just for high school students!

Students will spend 4 weeks learning real canyoneering skills—rappelling, ropes, knots, anchors, safety, communication and more.
Week 5, it’s canyon time! Students will put their new skills to the test.

Ages 14–18 | Grades 9–12
Only 8 spots available!
No experience needed

Taught by experienced Altura Adventures instructors.

Your $150 registration fee will be applied toward the total cost of your gear. Final cost TBD.

We’re excited to share that Get Outside is participating in Utah Youth Sports Giving Day!

From September 12th at 6pm to September 26th, Utahns will come together to help more kids experience the lifelong benefits of being active, outdoors and involved in sports.

For Get Outside, your support will help us provide outdoor gear, mountain bikes, scholarships and unforgettable outdoor experiences for youth who might otherwise not have the opportunity to participate.

And there’s even more reason to give! Give between Sept 12 at 6pm and Sept 26 and your gift can be matched! Through Utah Youth Sports Giving Day, eligible donations to Get Outside are matched, helping your generosity go twice as far in getting more kids outside.

The program is structured around participating schools’ A/B schedules. Students attend one coached session per week on their assigned day while receiving full gym access throughout the semester.

Zion Youth Stewards Summer Camp for ages 14-18.

ZYS Camp will provide youth with hands-on experiences at Zion National Park, teaching them about wilderness stewardship and outdoor recreation.
Participants will engage in activities like Leave No Trace education, skill-building workshops, and adventure hikes, while forming lasting connections to the park.
