Join us October 6th!

Red Bull is coming to the Washington Wheels Park! Join Washington City and Greater Zion on October 6th from 4:00-6:00 PM. Bring your bikes, blades, boards, scooters, and helmets to enjoy an evening of fun. Red Bull ambassadors will be in attendance handing out product while supplies last. Bring your friends and families as we show Red Bull all that the Washington Wheels Park has to offer!

4 Core Road Rules: Cyclist Edition 🚴🚴‍♀️

Cyclists: follow the rules of the road to help keep yourself and others safe.

Motorists: when passing a cyclist, provide at least 3 feet of clearance.

When everyone does their part, our roads are safer for all.

🚧 Construction Alert on SR-7 (Southern Parkway) 🚧

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has announced a new eastbound passing lane project on SR-7 near Sand Hollow Resort beginning September 1, 2026. While the project aims to improve traffic flow and safety for motorists, it will also impact cyclists who frequently use this corridor.

What cyclists should know: • Daytime construction Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Traffic shifts and construction activity throughout the project area
• Cyclists are encouraged to avoid the area during construction when possible
• One lane in each direction will remain open, but expect narrower travel conditions and increased vehicle congestion

As advocates for safe and enjoyable riding throughout Southern Utah, SUBA encourages riders to plan alternate routes, stay highly visible, and exercise extra caution if traveling through the Southern Parkway corridor. Construction is expected to continue through late November 2026.

Yesterday we were able to open the bike lockers for the IH Regional Hospital! This is a great addition for the community and will promote safer and more accessible active transportation! Special thank you to Craig and Di Shanklin for making this come to fruition.
