Last year I had the enjoyment of being involved with my two oldest boy's wrestling. We got on a great wrestling travel club and would go to Vegas and Northern Utah throughout the season. However, we have moved quite a bit further away from where that team practices. I never wrestled and I was hoping that my kids would follow my same passions. Nonetheless, wrestling is a great sport. ded to put together a small club here in Washington/St. We are going to limit the participation to roughly 10-12 youth. The ages will vary but we will not go any lower than 6 years of age. We will be holding practice in a 700 square foot room at Edge Training Center/Crossfit Zion. We will select the meets that we would like to participate in throughout the season and announce but I want to make it clear that this is a travel team and prepare to travel if you are considering. Now, because I do not know very much about wrestling and this may be a question that some of you may have...One of my closest friend's Jack Waters will be the Head Coach and I will be assisting him. Just a little bit of background on Jack. He is from Beaver, Utah. He is a 3 time State Champion wrestler. He still holds State records. I am very excited to be involved and I will give my 100% to make sure if you choose to have your child involved that they will enjoy every minute of it and have a great learning experience. One of the best experiences I have had in being involved with my kids' sports was traveling with them and having great conversations with them on our road trips.
