We love this sweet family. Tomas is incredibly kind and loving and would do anything for anyone. Our hearts are heavy, and we are deeply saddened by this news. We are praying for them and hoping for the very best. If you are able to help, please follow the link in the original post.

It is with immense heartbreak that we announce that Tomas, one of our beloved staff members, has suffered the loss of his youngest son Natanael. Natanael was the sweetest boy and brought so much light and love to his family. Tomas has been with our organization for several years and has been such a devoted, loyal, and kind addition to our organization. Many of you have met Tomas during your volunteer trips with us and can attest to his kind nature. Tomas & Angelica have a long road ahead of them as they navigate their grief and we are looking to help off load as much stress as we can. At this time, we are setting up a donation link for the Cortez Family. Any amount is appreciated and all proceeds will go directly to the family. Most kids in these villages sleep on cold dirt floors.
Last trip, we built 15 bunk beds, that's 40 children off the floor.
One mom said, “My children will sleep warm for the first time.”
