Conserve Southwest Utah

Conserve Southwest Utah CSU works to conserve and protect natural resources in southwest Utah through action and advocacy.

Our goals are to:

Conserve and protect local public lands, their habitats, and cultural remnants of native and pioneer activity;

Promote efficient use of existing local water and advocate “Conservation First” practices when developing water resources;

Advocate for clean energy and action to protect our blue skies, healthy air, scenic vistas, and climate;

Encourage local planning strategies that create livable communities and improve quality of life.

Tomorrow is the day — join us for our National Trails Day Hike at Pioneer Park! 🥾

Meet us at 7:30 AM at the pavilion near the "Dixie" rock for a gorgeous 2.2-mile loop along the Pioneer Rim, taking in breathtaking vistas, discovering local plants and wildlife, and getting out on the trail before the summer heat sets in.

Afterward, we'll head back to the pavilion for creative expression through art, light refreshments, and a group photo. This hike is part of Conserve Southwest Utah's 20th Anniversary celebrations — don't miss it! 🌵🎨

The red rock canyons, open trails, and wide desert skies of Southwest Utah are where we hike with our kids, watch the sunrise, and remember why this place is worth fighting for.

But they don't protect themselves.

Public lands face real and ongoing threats, and someone has to show up for them. For 20 years, Conserve Southwest Utah has been that voice, working every day to protect Southern Utah's lands, water, and livability.

If these places matter to you, please consider making a donation today. Every dollar goes directly toward keeping Southwest Utah wild, open, and thriving for generations to come.
