There is something powerful about communities coming together to celebrate freedom, history, and the principles that unite us. That's what America 250 is all about, after all.

Next week, our sister nonprofit, Liberty Village, will host the Summer of 250 Kickoff celebration featuring special events throughout the week and the visiting Freedom 250 truck.

These experiences are designed to educate, inspire, and create meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to connect with America’s story in memorable ways.

We are grateful for the work Liberty Village is doing to help bring history to life here in Southern Utah, and we encourage everyone to attend, participate, and support these events.

We are excited to support our sister nonprofit, Liberty Village, as they prepare for next week’s America 250 themed, Summer of 250 Kickoff celebration. And the arrival of the Freedom 250 truck in Southern Utah is a big part of that.

Throughout the week, guests will have opportunities to participate in patriotic events, hands-on educational experiences, and gatherings designed to inspire appreciation for America’s history and founding principles.

From Family Day and Homeschool Day to Liberty Rising and Colonial Crafts Night, this will be a meaningful week for families, friends, and communities across the region.

There is a fantastic America 250 event coming up next Monday, April 27 at 7 PM in Hurricane. Here is a brief announcement:
"The Hurricane Valley Symphony is excited to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States with the community. We will be showcasing traditional American pieces and composers. From medleys of well-known songs to classic tunes like "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again". This free concert is sure to evoke the American spirit. We are also glad to partner with Liberty Village, who will be providing patriotic story narration to accompany the music for the evening."

As we support our sister organization, Liberty Village, and we support America250 events throughout Washington County, we'd really like to see you there!

Always a good time at the Washington County Fair! come on down and see us, see some of the events going on at Liberty Village in the next month and enjoy the Colonial Village.

We are having a great time at the Colonial Village today, which is up at the Washington County fair!

The fair is open to all without admission this year in honor of America 250. We encourage all of you to come and join us and these fabulous reenactors as they demonstrate craft, cooking, and industry from colonial era America.
