And just like that, the story of Matilda Wormwood comes to a close - at least on our stage.
We celebrated closing night of Roald Dahl’s Matilda Jr. the Musical, and what a run it has been. Four nights. Two incredible casts. Sixty extraordinary young artists who showed up every single night and gave everything they had to this story.
We are so proud of every member of the Mischief Cast and the Mayhem Cast. The talent, the dedication, and the heart they brought to this production was something we will not soon forget. Watching them grow over the course of this process — from Launch Day all the way to closing night — has been one of the great privileges of what we do.
None of this happens without an exceptional creative team behind it. To Bridget, Mattea, Paris, Shannon, Maika, Skylar, Hali, Brittney, Libby, Anna, and every member of our support team-thank you. Your vision, your commitment, and your care for these young artists made this production something truly special.
To every family who brought their young artist to rehearsal, cheered from the audience, and trusted us with their child — thank you. This community is the reason we do what we do.
Matilda has left the building. But the story she told about courage, imagination, and standing up for what is right — stays with us.
