Hope to see you there.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 15 – 7:00 P.M. “THE MAGIC OF SINGING IN TIHE TABERNACLE CHOIR” Jon Green will present a PowerPoint history of the Tabernacle Choir up to the 2000’s, tracing the major turning points of the nine years Brother Green served as first tenor, highlighting the performance of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” at President Ronald Reagan’s 1984 Inauguration.

SATURDAY, JULY 25 – 7:00 P.M. “LIVING VOICES OF THE RESTORATION: HONORING THE PIONEERS WHO CARRIED THE FAITH FORWARD” Nearly 200 years ago, our ancestors stood together and declared to the world that the heavens are open, that God lives, and that Jesus is the Christ. But the Restoration did not end with Joseph and Hyrum. Garcia N. Jones, Michael Harrington and David J. Denning share the testimony carried forward by faithful Saints and pioneers who crossed oceans, plains, deserts, and mountains because they believed in Jesus Christ, honored their covenants, and trusted the promises of God. On Pioneer Day weekend, we remember not only those who came west, but all who chose Christ, kept the faith, and helped carry the Restoration forward.

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, the Mesquite Police Department and Mesquite Fire Department Honor Guard teams participated in the opening ceremony of the Best of the Best Charity Golf Tournament at Conestoga Golf Club.

This annual tournament is a tremendous community event that brings people together for a great cause. Proceeds from the tournament directly benefit Mesquite’s first responders, helping support those who dedicate themselves to serving our community.

We are grateful to the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and participants who make this event possible year after year. The continued success of this tournament is a reflection of the generosity and community spirit that make Mesquite such a special place to live and work.

Thank you for your support of our first responders and for always stepping up to make a difference. We are proud to serve a community that continually demonstrates such kindness, dedication, and appreciation.

We were honored to be part of this year’s opening ceremony and look forward to many more years of this event.
