Saturday morning, the Krewe de Canines embarked on a heartwarming journey at the West Feliciana Animal Humane Society, courtesy of Shannon Shaffer. The tour was profoundly moving, showcasing the unwavering dedication and passion of the volunteers that touched our hearts deeply. Following the tour, we seamlessly transitioned into action, lending a helping hand by walking dogs, cleaning dishes, folding blankets, and tackling tasks that needed attention. In the days to come, our Krewe will be shining a spotlight on some of the precious animals at the shelter who are yearning for their fur-ever home. A heartfelt thank you to all the compassionate supporters of our extraordinary shelter - you are truly the angels of mercy for the voiceless animals of our Parish.
