Below is what was awarded at the Competitive Events recognition session!

Damien Jones - Job Interview, Level 3 - Bronze
Bristol Laska - Focus on Children, Level 2 - Silver
Payton Kula, Isabelle Laska, Saphira Pohl - Food Innovations, Level 1 - Silver

Very proud of these students! They put in the work and did their best at State! I look forward to seeing the growth from this year take place into next!

Korina also handed over her role as State Peer Officer Family Leader Chairperson.

Yesterday was our competition day! Our chapter had 3 events compete and we will get our results this afternoon! The link for the award livestream will be below (starts at noon)! We also enjoyed a great Keynote speaker at last nights general session. As well as busting a move during a break at session!

Food Innovations Level 1
Focus on Children Level 2
Job Interview Level 3

We also spent some quality time at the movies last night! Miss Osantowski tried to take pictures, but no flash in a dark theater doesn’t work too well!

St. Edward FCCLA has made it to Lincoln and are excited for SLC!! We attended opening session this evening and are getting a meal afterwards as a Chapter! Good luck to those competing tomorrow!

We are serving lunch at the community building during the Ron Cruise Memorial Artifact Show! It is free will donation. We are serving sloppy joes, crack chicken, green beans, salads, chips, and desserts! Stop on by and support your local FCCLA Chapter!

St. Edward FCCLA is selling raffle tickets for a Smoked Meat Basket from Werts GW! The basket will have meat equivalent to $100 in price! We are selling each ticket for $5/ticket. This fundraiser will help fund the trip to the National Leadership Conference this summer. If you would like to support, please contact Miss Osantowski through this page or through the school. We will be drawing the winner on May 28, 2025 (if the date needs to be pushed back, we will use the page to notify)!!

Good evening, St. Edward FCCLA supporters! If you are around tomorrow night, Tuesday, May 6, 2025. The officers and I would like to invite you to the FCCLA Banquet! Honestly, we originally weren't going to have one this year, however, the officer team and I have decided to have one!

We will be celebrating all that we have accomplished this year! It will be held at the St. Edward Public School Gym at 6:30 PM. We will be serving Crack Chicken Sandwiches, Mashed Potatoes, and many salads and deserts (pot-luck style)! Hope to see you there!

Results are in!!

Everyone did amazing, we are so pleased with how our first go competing at State STAR went! I can’t wait to see how these students will evolve and grow in their upcoming years!! No students qualified for STAR at Nationals this year, however, I am confident that all students will continue to grow and better themselves and our community!! Jace is our only senior leaving us, he joined late but made an impact on FCCLA! Good luck on your future endeavors!

State Peer Officer Team:
✨ Korina Bittner made the State Peer Family team!! She will be serving as the Chairperson! She also will be serving as the Vice Chairperson on the Overall SPOT Council! This is such an amazing accomplishment, great job Korina!!! This does makes Korinaa eligible to attends Nationall Leadership Conference this summer in Orlando, FL!!! Congratulations!!!

STAR
⭐️ Bristol Laska competed in Career Investigation and received Gold!
⭐️ Jace Jones competed in Job Interview and received Gold!
⭐️ Payton Kula, Ali Werts, and Isabelle Laska competed in Chapter Service Project, Display and received a Silver medal!
⭐️ Katelyn Werts and Korina Bittner competed in Food Innovations and received a Silver medal!

Once again, everyone did an excelent job and I couldn’t be prouder! St. Edward FCCLA would like to thank all the teachers at St. Edward Public School, Parents/Guardians, and Members of our community for all the support given!! We really appreciate you all and hope to continue to thrive and grow as a chapter and become a bigger part of our amazing community!!

We even caught a glimpse of our famous Mrs. Whidden (name) on the big screen as she sponsored the STAR Event National Programs in Action, thank you for your continued support, I wouldn’t be a FCS Teacher or an adviser if it wasn’t for your encouragement throughout the years!!
