Team Todd Todd past away from colon cancer 10/24/2023. Follow us to read our journey and get updated info on colorectal cancer. Share info with us. He was 44 years old.

Letโ€™s continue Toddโ€™s fight. For those dealing with a cancer diagnosis, youโ€™re not alone!! The Team Todd page was orginally started to help keep friends and family stay updated on Todd's colon cancer journey. Unfortunatly, Todd lost his fight against colon cancer on 10/24/2023. We want to continue to share stories and how Todd battled his cancer for so long. The journey of battling this disease can be roller coaster , we want share the information we learned during Todd's battle. It is important to us to continue Toddโ€™s fight to beat colon cancer. Team Todd is focused on helping get the word out there for younger individuals. Colorectal cancer is on the rise in younger people. We want to assist making new information available to you to help you know your risks. This can be preventable, treatable and beatable with early detection. Had we known the information, it may have saved my husband. I want to prevent others from having to go though what we have gone though. There is help out there for screenings even. Anyone diagnosed with colorectal cancer, we want you to know you are not alone in your battle. Team Todd does not accept donations or offer financial support to individuals; however, we are committed to assisting you in locating the information required to meet your needs. Help is out there. Please share your stories with us. Do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions or information. We are happy to help get you the resources you need.

A blood test designed to detect multiple cancers identified cancer signals across 17 broad cancer types, such as ovarian, lung, breast and colorectal cancers, and many which do not have recommended screening tests.

The multicancer early detection (MCED) test analyzes small fragments of DNA that cells release into the bloodstream. Researchers use patterns in these fragments to detect signals associated with cancer. When a cancer signal is detected, the test also predicts the likely location of the cancer to help physicians determine appropriate follow-up testing.
