Water is something we all need to survive. But 2.2 billion people still live without clean water to drink. That’s more than 1 in every 4 people facing this challenge every day.
To help communities thrive and build healthier futures, we need your support. Rotary members are working tirelessly to complete projects that provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene sustainably, like these:
• Clean water in Darien, Panama:
A Rotary Foundation global grant funded the construction of two sand dams in Kenya through the African Sand Dam Foundation, providing reliable, clean water that benefits over 5,000 people, supports agriculture, and improves public health and livelihoods in rural communities.
