United Arts provides annual operating support to seven outstanding member arts organizations and grants additional support to special arts and cultural initiatives that benefit the community, such as the arts and culture website around the cloud.org and the Local Arts Index. The seven arts organizations that currently receive funds from United Arts are competent in many ways, but must excel in fiv

e key areas. Each must demonstrate high standards in artistic quality, maintain a broad base of community and volunteer support, have sound fiscal management and strong organizational structure and administration, and show a significant commitment to providing arts education and community outreach.
