Art Crawl St. Cloud Art Crawl St. Cloud is located along the streets of downtown St. Cloud from 5th Street W to the public library and possibly beyond. Cloud.

Cloud hosts numerous art crawls throughout the year featuring local and regional art at participating locations in downtown St. Cloud is also known to host hands on activities, actors performing short vignettes, eclectic musicians (solo and groups), and authors reading from their works along the sidewalks. Cloud expands the arts by taking it to the streets and into the local shops to provide downtown visitors with an engaging artistic experience.

Call for Artists: Interactive and Experiential Creators Wanted for Downtown St. Cloud’s August Art Crawl

The St. Cloud Downtown Alliance/ Downtown Art Crawl is officially seeking artist proposals for the upcoming August Art Crawl, taking place in historic downtown St. Cloud on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

This August’s event will feature a special focus on demonstrative and experiential community arts —they want creators who can engage the public through live demonstrations, interactive projects, and hands-on artistic experiences.

"Art is something to be experienced, not just viewed," said Committee Chair Katy Copa "With the support of the Central Minnesota Arts Board, we are able to compensate artists to pull back the curtain on their creative process. Whether it’s live pottery throwing, interactive mural painting, or community-driven weaving, we want to bring vibrancy and hands-on learning to St. Germain Street."

Artist Opportunity Details:
• Event Date & Time: Friday, August 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Location: Historic Downtown St. Cloud (indoor and outdoor spaces along St. Germain Street)
• Seeking: Artists of all mediums (visual, craft, performance, literary) capable of providing live demonstrations, interactive community art-making, or highly engaging visual installations. Group performances are also welcomed to apply.
• Compensation: Funding from the CMAB grant will be used to provide stipends for selected interactive/demonstrative feature.

How to Apply:
Interested artists, makers, and cultural creators are invited to submit their proposals online. Applications must include a description of the proposed demonstration or interactive community element, sample images of work, and material requirements.
• Application Deadline: June 30, 2026 (artists will be notified by early July)
